LICENCE
Lotto Thunder Quint is a Shareware product. As such, it is made
available to the general computing public for evaluation. Users are
licensed to operate Lotto Thunder Quint on their personal computers for
the purpose of test and evaluation on a trial basis for a limited trial
period. It is not possible to reasonably define any definitive limits
of a fair and equitable time period for evaluation, therefore it is left to
the user's judgment and sense of fair play as to the time required to make a

INTRODUCTION
You now have a copy of the newest version of Lotto Thunder Quint
(formally Lotto Prophecy Quint). The Lotto Thunder Quint/Lotto Prophecy Quint
series has been in development and testing for over two years. Created and
tested in California using the lotto 5/39. Which the odds of predicting the
winning numbers equals 1:575757. The system has proved itself repeatedly, in
lotteries with high odds in predicting winning numbers. If it can work in a
5/39 lotto, it should work very well in lotteries with lower odds.
Lotto Thunder Quint, written in dBASE, and compiled with Clipper 5.0.
What does this mean to you? First, dBASE is superior in keeping track of
large database files. Also using the power of dBASE is excellent in
predicting trends.
There are three complete and different prediction systems. Method #1
uses REPEAT RATIO, PERCENTAGE, AVERAGE, FREQUENCY ANALYSIS, PAIRS, TRIPLES
and LONG SHOT. Method #2 employ numbers from PREVIOUS GAMES, using variable
game blocks from three through nine games. Method #3 uses Top 20 numbers,
Sizzling numbers, Constant numbers, Inconstant numbers, and Frozen numbers.
The three different methods can be used with any pick six lotto game with or
without one bonus or substitute number.
Also there is a complete wheeling system (Wheeling systems are
scientific, mathematical tools). The wheeling system allows you to choose a
large group of numbers in any lotto game (from Lotto Thunder Quint, or your
own). Play a special set of combinations of those numbers and get a minimum
win guarantee. Lotto Thunder Quint can wheel from fifteen through forty-five
numbers, with a win guarantee of three out of five if five winning numbers
guessed correctly.

PREDICTION METHODS
Method #1
How often have you wondered when the last drawing winners were going to
hit again in the next game? REPEAT RATIO will make this decision for you. The
average Repeat Ratio is 1:6. This means that for every six single hits a
number has, it will have one double hit (two wins in a row). According to the
database, a number with a Repeat Ratio of 1:5, or lower, has the best
probability of winning two in a row.
PERCENTAGE is a prediction method based on the mathematical probability
on the percentage of times a number has hit. Usually a number that has hit
between thirteen through twenty percent has the highest probability of
consistently winning.
AVERAGING and FREQUENCY Analysis is two types of number analysis using
total winners, and total games played. Using this type of examination a
pattern of winning often can be plotted.
Any predicted numbers (using any of the other prediction routines), also
bring other numbers into the prediction field using PERCENTAGE on PAIRS. How
does PERCENTAGE on PAIRS work? If number five comes up into the prediction
field, and Percentage on Pair's equals fifteen percent. Lotto Thunder Quint
will check the number before and after the predicted number, four, and six.
If either four or six has some hits with number five of fifteen percent or
more. Those numbers will be added to the prediction field.
TRIPLES operate much in the same way as does PAIRS. For example, If
number ten comes into the prediction field, and Percentage on TRIPLES equals
five percent. Lotto Thunder Quint will check the number before and after the
predicted number, eight, nine and eleven, twelve. If either eight, nine or
eleven, twelve has some hits with number ten of five percent or more. Those
numbers will be added to the prediction field.
LONG SHOT was design to fill a wheel after a prediction run. For
example, you did a prediction run to pick twenty eight numbers. After the
prediction run, you find Lotto Thunder Quint picks only twenty numbers or so.
You now have the option to fill the rest of the wheel with numbers that have
longest odds of being picked.
Method #2
Using PREVIOUS GAMES, a very popular way for selecting lotto numbers.
What Lotto Thunder Quint does instead of using single numbers for
predictions, it uses blocks of games. Lotto Thunder Quint employs variable
game blocks from three through nine games. The theory is that many winning
numbers do, come from a catalog of recently drawn numbers.
For example, if the game block size equals seven games, the database
file has hundred games in it. You have chosen Previous Games 1-7, the program
will use lotto games #99, #98, #97, #96, #95, #94, #93. Filter out any
duplicate numbers, and wheel the remaining numbers. This remains true for
through out the Previous Games options, the only difference is the counting
back from the end of the database file.
You have several options when using this portion of the prediction
system. AUTO SELECTION designed to scan your database and pick the top five
Previous Games for you. MANUAL SELECTION can pick Previous Games by entering
a game number.

Method #3
Method #3 has three stages to complete. The first stage is scanning the
database. During the scanning of the database the numbers of the database
will be displayed in a chart format. The display of the chart has the
following heading.
Wins Total: Total number of times a number was a winner within the range
of selected games.
Wins %: The percentage of times a number was a winner within the range
of selected games.
No-Wins Total: Total number of times a number was a loser within the
range of selected games.
No-Wins %: The percentage of times a number was a loser within the range
of selected games.
Average of Wins: The average number of games that have elapse between
wins within the range of selected games for a number.
Last Wins: The number of games that has elapse since a number was a
winner.
Low/High: The lowest and highest number of games that elapse since a
number was a winner within the range of selected games.
Current Position: The current position of a number using the Low/High
range compared with the last wins data.
The second stage is after scanning is completed a window will open and
display the numbers from the database in five categories. The categories are
Top 20, Sizzling, Constant, Inconstant, Frozen.
The Top 20 numbers are twenty numbers that have been picked from the
database because of their performance. The user can choose the Top 20 four
different ways. By entering a number from 1-4, Lotto Thunder Quint will
display a new list of the Top 20 Numbers.
I found that giving the user a choice of four different ways for the Top
20 Numbers seems to work very well. I have seen lotto magazines pick twenty
numbers only one way. Often those numbers never come up. In Method #3 you may
find more winning numbers in one group of the Top 20 then another group.
All numbers in the database are broken down into four main categories
(Sizzling, Constant, Inconstant, Frozen). It doesn't matter if the numbers
are in the Top 20 or not. If a number fits into a category it will be
displayed in that category. If a certain number is not display at all, it
doesn't fit into any category.
Sizzling numbers are the hot numbers. Numbers with the most wins using
the current database data.
Constant numbers are numbers that have a good wins percentage, but are
not hot enough to be Sizzling numbers.
Inconstant numbers are numbers that have a very low win percentage. Most
numbers will be Inconstant numbers.
Frozen numbers are numbers with the lowest win percentage.
The final stage is wheeling the numbers. This is where the user comes
in. It's up to the user to pick the numbers to wheel. The first question to
answer is how many numbers you would like to wheel. A window will pop-up to
help you decide how many numbers to wheel and games to play.
The numbers can come from the five categories displayed on the screen.
Or the numbers can be picked from a printout from the scan of selected games
showing the numbers in the chart format. After the numbers are in the
ComPuWheel you can output the ComPuWheel to the screen, printer, or a file.

Auto Run Predictions
Auto Run is a section of Lotto Thunder Quint that automatically runs
one, or all three prediction methods for you. You tell Auto Run how numbers
you want to play and Auto Run does the rest.
Auto Run may run each prediction method(s) up to ten times to pick your
chosen amount of numbers within plus or minus three numbers. After each
prediction method(s) predicts your numbers Auto Run wheels your numbers, save
the predictions in a ComPuWheel file, display the results automatically.
There are several options available in Auto Run. Before Auto Run does
any predictions you have the option to reset the parameters for each
prediction method(s) before a prediction run. If you never have used Auto Run
I would answer this with a (Y)es till you understand how the prediction
methods work. But, if you have executed each prediction method manually, and
have them set a special way to prediction your numbers, answer this option
with an (N) no.
Auto Run also has printout options for data analysis for each prediction
method(s), printouts of ComPuWheels when saved, printout results of Auto Run.
All printouts can be directed to either to the printer or a file.
Let's do an example prediction run using Auto Run. We will run all three
prediction methods to pick twenty two numbers. When Auto Run starts each
prediction method it resets (if reset parameters is active) the parameters
back to the defaults for each prediction method.
After each prediction method has picked it numbers it checks to see if
it's within the plus or minus three numbers of twenty-two. If not, Auto Run
will adjust the parameters for that prediction method it's running, then
executes again.
After prediction method(s) picks within the twenty-two numbers. Auto Run
will wheel the numbers, save the wheel to disk (automatically naming the file
for you), print the wheel (optional), display the results. If a prediction
method fails to pick twenty-two numbers Auto Run will display the results
from each attempt.

COMPUWHEEL WHEEL SYSTEMS
What is ComPuWheels?
ComPuWheels are computer generated wheels systems. Also, ComPuWheels are
perfectly balanced, and ComPuWheels always brings in the prize guarantee.
I always had the desire designing my own wheel systems using my
computer. After months of work, I discovered the secret, and then wrote a
program to develop ComPuWheels. Being I live in California, the first wheel
was a forty-nine number wheel. After the wheels were developed, I then wrote
a program to test the forty- nine number wheel. By checking the past winning
games of the California Lotto with the wheel to see what the results would
be. If someone would have used the forty-nine number wheel on 3-28-87, they
would have had a five number plus bonus number winner. This paid out over 1.1
million dollars. There were also many five winners, four winners, and
hundreds of three winners during the testing of the forty nine number wheel
using the California database.
Anywhere you have access to ComPuWheels (Method #1, Method #2, Method
#3, ComPuWheels Menu), you can save your ComPuWheels to a file (ComPuWheel
file). As you finish a Prediction run, or after inputting numbers into a
ComPuWheel at the ComPuWheel's menu. You are given a choice for your output
(Screen, Printer, File). If a "F" for file output is entered, Lotto Thunder
Quint will show a directory display of all files with the file extension DBF
(*.DBF). Lotto Thunder Quint will then prompt you for a filename using the
file extension DBF. If you don't enter a file extension, the file extension
DBF will be added.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- IBM PC, XT, AT, 386, 486 and 100% IBM PC compatibles.
- MS-DOS OR PC-DOS version 3.0 or later operating system.
- 640k bytes of RAM (approx, 415k bytes free), LIM expanded memory is
supported.
- One hard-disk (Must). Lotto Thunder Quint also needs 75k of disk space
during execution.
- A monochrome or color monitor with 80 column display.
- Printer is optional. All predictions, and ComPuWheels output to either
screen, printer, or file.
Installing
Type QUINT at the DOS prompt to start Lotto Thunder Quint. The first
time Lotto Thunder Quint executes, you are prompt about using a color
monitor. If you are using a Mono monitor answer this prompt with an (N)o.
Otherwise answer this prompt with a (Y)es for a CGA, EGA, VGA systems. Then a
directory of all database files is shown in a browse window. Use the arrow
keys to move the highlight bar to a filename, then press the <<ENTER>> key to
enter the filename. Or, press the <<ESCape>> key to enter a filename
manually.
Everytime you exit Lotto Thunder Quint, the program will leave a file on
your disk called QUINT.SYS. This file is a memory dump of all the variables
used during execution, and the last database file used. The next time Lotto
Thunder Quint is executed, the program will remember all program variables,
database file, and monitor type.
If you would like to install Lotto Thunder Quint for a different monitor
type, erase the file QUINT.SYS and execute Lotto Thunder Quint.

Virtual Memory Manager (VMM)
Lotto Thunder Quint supports using expanded memory. Lotto Thunder Quint
will run in 415k of available main memory without any expanded memory.
Running in this minimum memory space will cause the VMM to swap memory to
disk causing a performance slow down.
For maximum performance run with as much main memory as available with
as much expanded memory as possible. Lotto Thunder Quint supports Lotus-
Intel-Microsoft (LIM) expanded Memory Specification 3.2 or higher. Lotto
Thunder Quint can and will take up to EIGHT megabyte of expanded memory if
you let it.
If you like to limit the amount of LIM memory use by Lotto Thunder Quint
use this command from DOS before starting Lotto Thunder Quint, SET
CLIPPER=E3000. This example will limit Lotto Thunder Quint to three megabytes
of LIM memory. Even running in minimum memory Lotto Thunder Quint is still
fifty percent faster then any previous Lotto Prophecy/Lotto Thunder Quint
versions.
In Memory Scanning (Fast-Scan)
Lotto Thunder Quint can scan database files in two ways. Anytime Lotto
Thunder Quint loads a database file, it checks the game count contained in
the database file. If the database file has less then three thousand (3000)
games Lotto Thunder Quint will load the complete file into memory. Over three
thousand games, Lotto Thunder Quint will scan the database on disk.
In Memory Scanning routines are contained in Analyze database numbers,
Prediction Method #1, Method #2, and Method #3. All Edit functions, Add new
games, or sorting, is done on the database file on disk. After any of those
functions, Lotto Thunder Quint will reload the database file back into memory
if less then three thousand games.
In Memory scanning is totally automatic by Lotto Thunder Quint. The user
does not have to do anything while running Lotto Thunder Quint. In Memory
Scanning is over fifty percent faster then scanning on disk.

TUTORIAL
Lotto Thunder Quint uses a SAA/CUA compatible pull-down menu system.
There are several ways to activate the menu system. By using the F-10 key to
activate the menu bar, move the highland bar to a menu name, press <<ENTER>>
to pull the menu down. Another way to activate the menu bar is to use the ALT
key with the highland letter for each menu name in the menu bar to pull down
the menu. Once the menu is activated, move the highland bar to a menu
selection, then press <<ENTER>>. Instead of moving the highlight bar, press
the highlight letters in the menu to activate a function.
Lotto Thunder Quint also has some shortcut commands. The shortcut
commands can only be activated from the main screen of Lotto Thunder Quint,
not from the menu bar or from an activated menu. Shortcut commands are CTRL-A
for Add games, CTRL-C for Change a file, CTRL-P for Print game records,
CTRL-V for View game records, and ALT-X to Exit to Dos.
Before getting started you must have or get the winning numbers for your
lotto. If you can, get all the winning numbers for your lotto since the
beginning of your lotto. The more data you have, the more accurate Lotto
Thunder Quint will predict. Contact your local lotto office for more details
about getting the winning numbers.
The first time Lotto Thunder Quint executes, you are prompt about using
a color monitor. If you are using a Mono monitor answer this prompt with an
(N)o. Otherwise answer this prompt with a (Y)es for a CGA, EGA, VGA systems.
Then a directory of all database files is shown in a browse window. Use the
arrow keys to move the highlight bar to a filename, then press the <<ENTER>>
key to enter the filename. Or, press the <<ESCape>> key to enter a filename
manually. If you would like to create a new file, use the option from the
file menu (CREATE new database file). Note: you must add at least one game to
the new data file for the program to continue. After the file creation, you
will be put into the ADD new game option of the file menu. From there you can
add as many games as you would like.
Lotto Thunder Quint uses a higher speed input system. For example, you
are adding lotto numbers to your data file. You have entered the number six,
the highlighted area expects a two digit number. Thus, you would need to push
the <<ENTER>> key to move to the next highlight area. Or, you could enter a
zero and then the number six. This will move the cursor to the next highlight
area. Using this method on single digits numbers, or characters, can speed-up
inputting data. This method holds true throughout Lotto Thunder Quint. You
only need to push the <<ENTER>> key if the highlight area isn't fulfilled.

1 FILE Menu (ALT-F)
1.1 ADD new game records (CTRL-A)
Adds new lotto game numbers to the current lotto database file. Input
the date of the game, then the numbers (up to five). If you don't use all the
number inputs, you can leave them blank.
After you have entered your numbers, Lotto Thunder Quint will ask you if
you would like to Auto Scan the ComPuWheel Files for winning plays. If you
answer this with an (Y)es, the Auto Scan feature starts looking for
ComPuWheel Files. If it finds any ComPuWheel Files, all winning Plays in each
file will be display.
1.2 ANALYZE database numbers
Before you can start doing any analyzing, you must specify the game
range to scan. Lotto Thunder Quint will show the game range that you can
choose from. You can scan anywhere within the game range. All analyzing
totals will be from the game range chosen.
You are given a choice to enter a number from one through the high
number of your lotto game. Or, you can enter the letter "A" (for All), to
scan all the lotto numbers. With the letter "A" option, you also can printout
all data for the lotto numbers being analyzed.
1.3 CHANGE database file (CTRL-C)
If you are using multiple lotto database files, you can use this option
to change to other database files. A directory of all database files is shown
in a browse window. Use the arrow keys to move the highlight bar to a
filename, then press the <<ENTER>> key to enter the filename. Or, press the
<<ESCape>> key to enter a filename manually.
1.4 CREATE new database file
You must add at least one game to a new data file for Lotto Thunder
Quint to continue. You also have to input the highest number your lotto
plays. For example, in California, the PICK-5 lotto game is a 5/39. This
means that the game is with five numbers, with the highest number being 39.
Incorrect input of this number could cause Lotto Thunder Quint not to scan to
the proper number.
After the file creation, you are put into the ADD new games option of
the file menu. From here you can add as many games as you would like.
1.5 PRINT game records (CTRL-P)
If you have a printer, you can printout all the games in the current
database file (output to a file, or the printer). Anytime during the
printout, pushing the <<ESCape>> key will abort this function.

1.6 VIEW game records (CTRL-V)
This is the same as print existing games. Except the output is to the
screen, not the printer. Also using the <<ESCape>> key, will abort this
function.
1.7 EXIT to DOS (ALT-X)
This function will save all data Lotto Thunder Quint is using into the
file Quint.sys. Lotto Thunder Quint will then close all files and exit to
DOS. Shortcut command is ALT-X from main screen.

2 EDIT Menu (ALT-E)
2.1 EDIT game records
The worse thing that can happen is to input the wrong winning numbers.
By using EDIT game records a display of twelve game records will be shown.
Using the arrow keys or the pageup-pagedown keys you may scan the file to
place the cursor. Pushing the <<ENTER>> key will start the edit feature.
Using the <<ESCape>> key will exit EDIT game records.
2.2 DELETE a game record
If you find a need to Delete a game record this option will do it for
you. Lotto Thunder Quint will prompt for a game record number to Delete.
After the game record number is entered, that game record will be displayed.
Lotto Thunder Quint will prompt you if this is the game record to Delete. A
positive answer will Delete the current game record being displayed.
2.3 SORT database by date
Sometimes a game is entered out of order (by date), or a game is
forgotten and entered later. This option will take the current database and
Sort the database by date.

3 PREDICTION Menu (ALT-P)
3.1 Auto Run Prediction Method #1
This selection will do an Auto Run of Prediction Method #1. See the Auto
Run section of this manual for more information.
3.2 Prediction Method #1
This method is the most powerful, and has more options to predict
numbers. Number analysis in Method #1 can be user adjusted.
The first thing you may want to do, decide how many numbers you are
going to play. You can do this by going to the ComPuWheels Menu and picking
out how many numbers and total plays you are going to predict. After you have
decided how many numbers you are going to play, you are ready to do some
predictions.
Before you can start doing any predictions, you must specify the game
range to scan. Lotto Thunder Quint will show the game range that you can
choose from. You can scan anywhere within the game range.
Now, lets predict some winning lotto numbers. Start doing prediction
runs using the default settings in Lotto Thunder Quint.
Enter the Min. and Max. Game for this scan, from 1 - ????
Enter # for spread on Predictions, default (2)
Enter # for Repeat Ratio, default (5)
Enter # for Percentage on Predictions, default (18%)
Enter # for Percentage on Pairs, default (15%)
Enter # for Percentage on Triples, default (5%)
To answer any questions about SPREAD on PREDICTIONS, This is a setting
to adjust the spread on when a number will hit on a game. For example, if
spread equals zero, only numbers that hit exactly on the predicted game will
be put into the prediction field. If spread equals one, numbers selected to
hit on the predicted game, and numbers that hit plus or minus one game will
be put into the prediction field.
Also if spread equals two, numbers selected to hit on the predicted
game, and numbers that hit plus or minus two games, will be put into the
prediction field.
For the first few prediction runs, leave PERCENTAGE on PAIRS, and
PERCENTAGE on TRIPLES set at its defaults. I found the defaults setting to
work very well for prediction processing. Setting PERCENTAGE on PAIRS, or
PERCENTAGE on TRIPLES higher, will bring fewer numbers into the prediction
field.
ONLY predicted numbers will do PERCENTAGE on PAIRS, or PERCENTAGE on
TRIPLES processing. PERCENTAGE on PAIRS, or PERCENTAGE on TRIPLES predicted
number will not do PERCENTAGE on PAIRS, or PERCENTAGE on TRIPLES processing.
The cliche, do prediction runs, and try to get your total picks around
three quarters of your total numbers that you decided to play. The easiest
way to do this is by changing the setting on PERCENTAGE (higher, fewer
numbers, lower, more numbers). Fill the rest of the prediction field with
LONG SHOTS.
Also, if you notice that Lotto Thunder Quint starts counting backwards,
this is normal.

3.3 Prediction Method #2 Sub-Menu
3.4 Auto Run Prediction Method #2
This selection will do an Auto Run of Prediction Method #2. See the Auto
Run section of this manual for more information.
3.5 Auto Selection of Previous Games
Before you start using Method #2, check, or set, scan size of game
blocks. This can be done from the Method #2 sub-menu. The game block size can
be set from three through nine games. In the examples below, Previous Game
block size equals seven games.
AUTO SELECTION will scan your database and pick the top five Previous
Games for you. To start, you enter a starting game number, lets say a one.
Then you enter a hundred for the ending game number. Scanning would be from
Previous Games 1-7 through Previous Games 94-100 (game block size set at
seven games). You can scan the database from any starting game, through any
ending game. AUTO SELECTION can decide the beginning and ending games to scan
for you. Just use the defaults that Lotto Thunder Quint picks for you.
If you have a two hundred game database, and you scan from Previous
Games 1-7 through Previous Games 94-100. Scanning would be for a total of
hundred games for all computations. Or, if scanning was from Previous Games
1-7 through Previous Games 44-50, scanning and computations would cover one
hundred fifty games. Smaller scans, equals, higher totals, and higher
averages. The larger scans (from start to end), the total winners, and
average winners may be lower (unless you have a very large database).
Using AUTO SELECTION can take sometime to complete. Depending on the
size of the database, it could take more then thirty minutes. A disk cache,
or Ramdisk can increase speed.
After the auto scan you then have a choice to wheel part of, or all five
Previous Games if you like. During the auto scan you can see the data
calculate, and the top five Previous games sort.
3.6 Manual Selection of Previous Games
The second section of Previous Games is the MANUAL SELECTION. You can
pull games in from the end of the database, or the beginning. It doesn't
matter, pick a game number, and Lotto Thunder Quint will pull in games from
there.
3.7 Change Previous Game Block Size
The default size of the game blocks is five games (up to twenty-five
numbers). The minimum size is three games (up to fifteen numbers), to a
maximum of nine games (up to forty-five numbers). If you use this option to
change the game block size, pick this option from the Method #2 main menu.
You then can enter a number from three through nine.

3.8 Auto Run Prediction Method #3
This selection will do an Auto Run of Prediction Method #3. See the Auto
Run section of this manual for more information.
3.9 Prediction Method #3
Before you can start scanning you must specify the game range to scan.
Lotto Thunder Quint will show the game range that you can choose from. You
can scan within the game range.
Once the scanning starts, up to eight numbers will be displayed in a
chart format on the screen. After each screen a pause will hold scanning.
This gives you a moment to review the data for each number.
When scanning has finish a window will open to display the numbers in
five categories. The categories are Top 20, Sizzling, Constant, Inconstant,
Frozen.
The Top 20 numbers are twenty numbers that have been picked from the
database because of their performance. You can choose the Top 20 four
different ways. By entering a number from 1-4, Lotto Thunder Quint will
display a new list of the Top 20 Numbers.
Enter a zero will continue Method #3 to the wheeling section. Lotto
Thunder Quint will then ask you if you would to wheel some numbers. A
positive answer will display a list of ComPuWheels available for you to
choose
from.
Once you selected a CompuWheel a window will open to let you enter
numbers from the screen, or printouts, or whatever. After you finish you can
output your ComPuWheel the same way as in other sections of Lotto Thunder
Quint.
When finish with wheeling the first wheel, you have a choice to wheel
more numbers if you like. In Method #3 you can wheel as many numbers in as
many wheels as you would like.

3.10 Auto Run All Three Prediction Methods
Auto Run is very simple to use. Auto Run in Lotto Thunder Quint operates
in the same way for one, or all three prediction methods.
When you first start Auto Run you will be asked how many numbers you
would like Auto Run to predict from each prediction method. To help you
decide how many numbers to play a window will open showing how many numbers
and plays for each wheel in Lotto Thunder Quint.
There are several options available in Auto Run. Before Auto Run does
any predictions you have the option to reset the parameters for each
prediction method(s) before a prediction run. If you never have used Auto Run
I would answer this with a (Y)es till you understand how the prediction
methods work. But, if you have executed each prediction method manually, and
have them set a special way to prediction your numbers, answer this option
with an (N)o.
The last option is if you would like a printout of the ComPuWheels when
saved to disk. If you plan to play the numbers that Auto Run predicts you
will need to answer this question with a positive answer. As with all print
options in Lotto Thunder Quint you can output to either the printer or a
file.
After Auto Run has finish running the prediction method(s) a screen will
be shown showing the numbers picked for each prediction method(s). Also shown
are filenames for ComPuWheel and printout files for each prediction
method(s). Before you exit Auto Run you have the option for a printout of the
Auto Run results.
3.11 Combine ComPuWheel Files
This section of the program is designed to read all Lotto Thunder Quint
ComPuWheel files. ComBine and convert the ComPuWheel files, and save them
into a Lotto Thunder Quint database file. You then can load this new database
(into Lotto Thunder Quint), and do Predictions on your Predictions. Or,
whatever else you like Lotto Thunder Quint to do with this new and unique
database file.
You can do predictions on your predictions to as many levels as you
like. For example, do some predictions on your regular lotto database and
save them into ComPuWheel files. Execute ComBine, to convert your ComPuWheel
files to a Lotto Thunder Quint database file. Then do some more predictions
on your new database. Execute ComBine again to build even a bigger database
file.

4 SCAN Menu (ALT-S)
4.1 Auto Scan for Winning Plays
There are two places you can Auto Scan ComPuWheel files for Winning
Plays in Lotto Thunder Quint. From ADD New Games (file menu), or from Auto
Scan for Winning Plays (scan menu).
When you enter the winning numbers (in ADD New Games), you will be
prompted about using Auto Scan's feature looking for ComPuWheel Files. If you
answer with an (Y)es, Auto Scan will start, if it finds any ComPuWheel Files,
all winning plays in each file will be display.
If Auto Scan is executed from the scan menu finds no ComPuWheel files,
Lotto Thunder Quint will prompt for a filename, scanning that file for
winners and displaying them.
4.2 Scan for Past Performance
Have you ever had that what if question? What if I played my numbers a
week ago, a month ago, a year ago. You now can get the answer with SCAN FOR
PAST PERFORMANCE.
SCAN FOR PAST PERFORMANCE takes you favorite ComPuWheel files and
processes your database games through it. This can be the complete database,
sections of the database, or even one game from the database.
During the SCAN FOR PAST PERFORMANCE you will see individual games and
their winners from your ComPuwheel file displayed. As each game is process
through your ComPuWheel file a display of subtotals of winners will be
displayed. At the end of scanning a grand total of winners also will be
displayed (also, all info can be sent to your printer).
To start, SCAN FOR PAST PERFORMANCE will prompt you for a ComPuWheel
filename. This can be any ComPuWheel file that is compatible with Lotto
Thunder Quint.
Before you can start SCANNING FOR PAST PERFORMANCE, you must specify the
range of games to insert into your ComPuWheel file. Lotto Thunder Quint will
show the game range that you can choose from. You can insert games within the
game range.
You will next have the option to have a printout of the results. The
printouts contain the subtotals for each game that is inserted. After
scanning has completed, a grand total result is also printed.
Your last option before scanning is if you would like to pause after
each game is inserted. If this option is used, the scanning will pause after
each game and display the subtotals for that game. If this option is not
used, the scanning will continue until completed. Displaying the grand totals
after scanning is done. Note: This option is disabled if the printout option
is used.
